Red Hook Studios released a short trailer announcing a sequel to, the brutal gothic horror role-playing game from 2016. In Darkest Dungeon, players assume the role of someone coming home to claim their estates from a mysterious ancestor.

Red Hook Studios shared some details on what we can expect from the game with, saying that the combat will keep the same format but be “tuned up.” The metagame will be “completely different,” however; we’re leaving the village behind and we can likely expect traveling through icy passes to require a different kind of management.This new location seems quite perilous indeed, as we’re heading to a place called The Howling End.
