There was a scene where Jesse was trying to find out who the dealers were that ordered Combo dead, and he goes up to a house he suspects and says 'Got any of the blue?' Jesse and Walt acknowledge the fact that it's called Blue Sky on the street, since in that scene Jesse is just posing as a street junkie looking to get high, but since Walt is a 'respect the chemistry' kind of guy and Jesse was only dealing early on in the show, plus they had to keep their relationship on the DL and rarely talked about the meth besides when they were cooking, it makes sense we didn't hear them calling it Blue Sky; it would have been, at that point, the notorious name for the purest meth on the market.

IMO, Skyler was looking for a reason to stay back. A reason not to flee from this madness.

Even though probably every fiber of her being told her to do so. When the entire situation was suggesting her to make a move, she came to the Four Corners expecting the ' Universe' to indicate in some manner that she should stay back with her family and not run from them. So, she tosses the coin and lets the ' Universe' decide ( even though it was more like her asking fate to support her decision). But when both the tosses land up in Colarado, she steels her will and pulls the coin back to New Mexico.
